Tyler is a sweet boy but you can tell he is not used to affection.  He likes to be petted but will back away from a hug or cuddling.  We are working on this & he is making progress.  He likes to play with other dogs also.  He will be protective over his treats or rawhides & has the potential to bite if you try to take away.  Again, we are working on the trust issue.  We think he is such a handsome boy.  He was so sad when he came here but is doing much better.  He loves to lay outside & sun.  Tyler is around 4 years old.  

UPDATE ON TYLER: Tyler has really come a long way since the first day he arrived at his foster home.  He has really learned what playing with his doggie friends is all about.  He will come up & seek affection now.  His foster mom takes him out to the farm & he likes to run but has been very trustworthy to know his boundaries & not stray too far away.  He definitely has a beagle nose & wants to smell everything.  He is not a big licker though & fairly quiet!  He is doing great on house training, in fact he is one that can be left unsupervised & trust to use the doggie door to go out and potty.
