My name is Chopper and I'm a six year old Beagle boy and I firmly believe in age before beauty. So while you may be looking for a younger puppy, remember that a dog of any age can be trained and I will adapt too  and be a loving, loyal companion for  a new family.  Now I know you’ve been checking out my pictures and you are thinking that I look more like a Bassett Hound than a Beagle. Well, my foster Mom couldn’t agree more. So maybe one of my parents had some Bassett Hound too, anyway, she calls me a Bagel Hound.  I’m a little overweight and I do take thyroid meds twice a day, but all the more of me to love!   I am housebroken and I love a good walk too!  My foster Mom is a professional dog walker and I will play with every dog we meet!  I now live in a foster home with an old Beagle lady and we get along great!   My foster mom says I will get along with children.  So give Beagle Rescue a call so we can meet!
