ADOPTION PENDING- Hello!  My name Bonnie and I'm a gentle, loving 10-year old female beagle.  Even though I had a rought start in life, I am learning that Colorado is a wonderful place to meet new friends, explore and enjoy new experiences and finally get a wonderful second chance to become a special part of my new forever family!!  I love meeting and hanging out with other dogs and I absolutely enjoy the company of cats...in fact my foster dad's cat, Scout, thinks I am a pretty special little girl.  We both enjoy spending quality lap time together listening to music and watching for visitors at our large bay window.  I love going for car rides and really enjoy trips to the pet store and hardware stores by my foster dad's house.  I love hanging out with my foster dad and am learning bunches of new tricks like sit, down and stay.  He says that I am a quick learner and very food motivated!!  I really like exploring our neighborhood during our walks, but because my legs aren't yet as strong as I would like, I prefer shorter walks at a nice leisurely pace.  While I love getting pets and attention from kids, I might do best in an older household where the pace of life moves a bit slower and predictable.  Days filled with naps, quiet time and maybe helping out my family with gardening or exploring their yard would suit me just fine!!  I should point out that I am a very polite and proper lady who does very well with her house training and will even let my family know when I need to visit the outdoors for potty time.  I love mealtimes (what Beagle doesn't) and belly rubs and both are the rare times that I might get so excited that I'll actually give out a happy "woof!!"  There hasn't been a heart I haven't won over during my time in Colorado and I think that I am ready to give my heart to a new forever family!
