ADOPTION PENDING- Jack and Leila have been mates for their whole lives.  They do need to stay together as they are best friends. They were born in July and are 4 years old.  They did have one litter of puppies when they were a year old, and are now spayed/neutered.   Jack loves to lick Leila's ears and they both love neck rubs and scratches and cuddling on the couch.  They are great with kids and love people.  They are both socialized well with other dogs, but we have no idea how they react around cats as they have never been around them.  They do well at the dog park.  They have been fed Blue Buffalo food (weight control) and they love it.  Their food is kept out all day and they feed themselves when hungry--unusual for beagles!  They love peanut butter and ice cubes.  Jack loves playing tug of war and with balls.  They will bolt out the front door if given the opportunity--very usual for beagles!  At night, they love burrowing in their blankets in the kennel.  They love car rides, but get scared in the car wash and also when semi trucks are next to the car.  They genuinely love everyone they are around.  When told "Go to bed" they will go to their kennel and are given a treat every time they do that.  They also know commands like "wanna go on a walk," or "run" or "wanna go for a ride in the car?" or "Go to dog park".
