My name is Meeho and I'm a 5 year old neutered male! Unfortunately, my 'parents' now have grandchildren and I got excited one day and jumped at the grandson--no bites but now the grandson is scared of me. I probably need to live in a home with older children. I love my daily routine: two meals a day, two walks a day (always on the leash because if I see a squirrel, I would go for it!--probably would be good to get me a halter since you would have a bit more control over me,), relaxing in the evening with my mom and dad and two cats and snuggling in the easy chair. One of my cat brothers likes to play with me, the other cat made it clear that I should leave him alone, so I do. I have my own bed to sleep in, which I will get to take with me. I like to play fetch with the tennis ball in the fenced in backyard. I have a pet door, so I can go in and out when I need to, but of course I am housebroken. My mom is home most days, but I do not get anxious when left alone. When mom works in the garden, I always keep her company outside. She likes me to be with her and sometimes she throws the ball for me. It's my duty to let my family know when someone is at the door, the UPS truck makes a delivery, or the mail truck goes by, but I only bark when there is a good reason to bark.
